The processing of agricultural products is very important for any country. Olive processing can contribute to improving the agricultural economy. The olive cultivation area in Rijab District is 591 hectares and the annual production is 2,000 tons, but these industries have not developed much in the region. The goal of this research was to conduct a strategic analysis of olive processing industries development in Rijab district using SWOT analysis. The study population included all olive growers in the Rijab region of Dalahu Township (N=370), of whom 15 were interviewed.In order to obtain rich information, interviews were also conducted with 7 experts from the Agricultural Jihad. The data collection tools in this research were semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. Based on the results, 4 broad categories were identified for strengths, the most important of which was "suitable environmental and geographical conditions of the region for the development of olives and their products." In contrast, 3 weaknesses were identified, the most important of which was: "transportation problems in the study area." Opportunities for the development of olive processing workshops include 3 categories, the most important of which is "supportive policies for the agricultural sector." Threats include 4 categories, the most important of which is "weak legislation and policy making." Considering the findings of internal and external factors, strategies used were of an aggressive type. The most important of these strategies can be mentioned as "adopting measures and policies to support the agricultural sector in the study area according to its suitable geographical conditions.
